The Three little Pigs

This week we have been focusing on the story of The Three Little Pigs. The children have been joining in with the repetitive rhymes as well as retelling the story in their own words. They have had so much fun with the puppets pretending to blow the house down.

We have also been matching objects that are the same in Maths this week and the children have been telling us why they are the same. Some children also made their own houses for the pigs to live in using shapes or building blocks.

Our little rays of sunshine this week are Amelia Howarth for her amazing efforts in all activities. She was able to sequence the story, she was brilliant at explaining how the characters from the story might be feeling and built an amazing house for the pigs using Lego. Hunter Howe for his retelling of the story of 'The Three Little pigs'. Dexter Hutchinson for trying very hard with our matching activity. Amber Barnes for settling wonderfully into nursery life. She is always happy to join in with all activities and this week she did a super job practising writing the letter A at the start of her name. Finally, Archie Clarey for trying hard during focused activities and also for forming new friendships. Well done to you all, what superstars!
